Mind food 2 - Food for Thought

I've read an book by James Allen, he wrote very interesting things I'd like to share with you.

"Change of Diet will not help a man who will not change his thoughts, when a man makes his thoughts pure, he no longer desires inpure food. If you perfect your body, guard your mind, if you would renew your body, beautify your mind. Thoughts of malice, envy, and disappoinyment, despondency rob the body of its health and grace."

This opened my mind! Gratitude :)

I now am a Certified Sake Sommelier :)

I've become a certified Sake Sommelier a month ago, and the news letter I've received printed people who attended the courses with me, and also my comments.
Here is the link for the web page.

I was really amazed to find out How delicious and flavoursome Sake is, and I wish I will be able to organise Sushi and Japanese cooking classes combined with Sake tasting in the near future!

Love this Teppanyaki Chef performance!

I used to work at Benihana Resturant in London, I really had good time watching chefs performing in front of guests. I had so much fun watching it!

Home made Plum wine - umeshu - Now ready to sip :)

I prepared this plum wine in June this year 2010, and now it is ready to sip.
I made one with Japanese sake, and another is made with shouchu.
The one with Sake is light flavour, and the latter has got more flavour and depth, and taste colourful.

Umeshu has citric acid, and more mineral than mineral water, and helps digestion, and release tiredness.
The left one is with Sake, and the right is with shochu, they have different colour. Amazing! Sake has around 13-14% of alcohol, and shouchu has 20%.
