Shiso Butter

I love Italian Food, and I used to go to this Italian restaurant in Atsugi in Kanagawa when I was teaching English there.
My favorites were pescatole, and chicken and mushrooms cooked in tomato sauce, peperonchine, vongole Bianca..etc
I cook pasta a lot, and today I cooked vegetarian pasta with shiso butter for lunch.
I am trying to detox eating only vegetables and fish, meat once a week kind of.., little dairy, but I am not strictly doing... ;) however I don't eat much meat any more.
This pasta was so delicious.
Ingredients I used was,
chopped garlic, shallots, onions, half red chili, mixed dried herbs, baby tomatoes, red paprika. mushroom,
shiso butter( I made this with butter, and chopped shiso), and maldon salt, black pepper to taste, and of course Olive oil!

New style Chirashi with salmon teriyaki

I've made Salomon Teriyaki, and scattered over sushi rice topping, sliced cucumbers, red raddish, and takuan. I sprinkled chopped chives and black sesami. Delish:)

Chirashi Sushi

I've worked for Hospital Club at Covent Garden during Kabuki and a year after event. Chefs at Hospital are great to work with, and working there was good experience/ I made chirashi sushi for a bite before super!

I pray for people in Japan

I am sending a prayer for people in Japan, and My heart goes to those people having most difficult time.

One street child in Brazil said, I wish I were rich, if I were I would give all the street children food, clothes, medicine, shelter, love and affection.when this street child is willing to share, 
Why we have evertything, why we are still  so greedy...

All the money spend on wars, but instead if it is spent on environmetal answers, ending poverty..

I saw a girl sleeping rough this eveing, and I was thinking there are people sleep in the castle, and there are people sleep rough, and I was thinking this could be changed.
I know we can.

Mind food 2 - Food for Thought

I've read an book by James Allen, he wrote very interesting things I'd like to share with you.

"Change of Diet will not help a man who will not change his thoughts, when a man makes his thoughts pure, he no longer desires inpure food. If you perfect your body, guard your mind, if you would renew your body, beautify your mind. Thoughts of malice, envy, and disappoinyment, despondency rob the body of its health and grace." 

This opened my mind! Gratitude :)
